Emptynest

''Emptynest'' is the concept for an animated short, based on the reality that most Venezuelan families live. The film would utilize 3D models but by using lighting, colors and textures to simulated a painted picture book.

The story is about a lonely Venezuelan mother in her home going about her day while thinking of her child, now an adult who lives far away, and her husband who is about to have a tragic clash with the world around them. The story emphasis the universal feeling that parents have when their children grow up through the lenses of political unrest in Venezuela in mid 2010s.
